HIGH SCHOOL FORECAST FROM US NWS LAKE CHARLES 9.6.24

Attached is the Thursday and Friday evening forecasts for high school varsity football contests across the region. Thursday is looking quite wet and some games may be delayed due to lightning. By Friday evening, most of the rain should be clear of the area as a cold front pushes through. Some lingering storms could remain from Lafayette to Morgan City through the evening. The good news is the combination of clouds, rain and frontal boundary should keep temperatures tolerable for both athletes and spectators.
