Looking like a hot and humid Independence Day across the area. Be on the lookout for those hit and miss showers in the thunderstorms in the afternoon. Any shower activity is expected to dissipate by early evening and by fireworks time. The hot and humid conditions will remain through the remainder of the Independence Holiday Weekend with the scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
