ST. MARY PARISH, La. – DOTD announces that on Tuesday, March 10, a rolling closure will take place on U.S. 90 eastbound near the railroad tracks in Patoutville.

This rolling closure is necessary to allow crews to perform bump grinding work on the current asphalt.

Work will begin at approximately 9 a.m.

Motorists are encouraged to be patient if traveling through the construction during this time, and please be on the look out for crews and their equipment.

This work is related to the ongoing $50M I-49 South project that involves constructing two overpasses on U.S. 90 westbound and eastbound over the Patout Railroad between La. 85 (Patout Road) and La. 668.
