Here are the latest forecast graphics from the midnight crew:
- A Heat Advisory is in effect today from 11 AM to 8 PM for the potential of oppressive heat with the max apparent temperatures or heat indices up to 112 degrees in spots.

- Indications are that there will be a break in the pattern over the weekend as a surface boundary moves across late Saturday into Sunday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms, and a reduction in the heat risk.
