WEATHER UPDATE FROM US NWS LAKE CHARLES 8.3.26

Good Monday morning!
The dry airmass brought in to the region yesterday will hang around again today! This would be a great plus if there was a breeze to move the air around, but unfortunately winds will be very light. Thus, even though it’s dry it’ll feel like an oven!
We will slowly return to the typical summertime pattern of hot temps but also with daily rain chances and cloud cover.
Stay careful of the heat out there this week!
