UPDATE: This closure will now take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

The LA 322 Sterling Bridge over Bayou Teche will be closed on Wednesday, August 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform routine maintenance repairs.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area and should seek alternate routes.

The detour route for this closure will not be posted but will consist of LA 322, LA 87, LA 3069, and LA 182.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
