Good Morning all!
Today we have a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon with some areas reaching the upper 90s.
If spending time or working outside make sure to take breaks and hydrate. Temperatures will begin to decrease as the
week goes on while the rain chances increase.
For Friday and Saturday we have a Marginal (1/4) Risk for Excessive Rainfall which can induce instances of flash flooding.
Areas across SE TX that have experienced a significant amount of antecedent rainfall still have an elevated potential for flash flooding.
