Here are the updated forecast graphics from the midnight crew:
- An upper-level high building in will reduce rain chances this week. The only exception will be on Wednesday when a wave passing across the northern Gulf will bring an increase in shower activity near the coast.
- The wave will also help increase winds and seas over the coastal waters on Wednesday into early Friday and a Small Craft Advisory will likely be needed.
- Drier air will move into the region by Thursday as a surface high builds with a northeast flow bringing a continental air mass that will reduce humidity with lower apparent temperatures into Saturday.
