Scattered thunderstorms are anticipated this afternoon and again Saturday afternoon. Coverage will be near typical for summertime. Late in the weekend a weak cold front will stall across the region and interact with gulf moisture. Sunday through Tuesday will be wetter than normal with a marginal to slight risk of excessive rain
