• There may be a few showers or storms moving across the coastal waters and skirting across the coastal parishes and counties as a weak wave moves across the northern Gulf today into early Thursday..
• Otherwise, an upper-level high will build in limiting rain chances into the weekend..
• East-northeast flow developing behind the wave as a surface high builds in will bring a drier air mass starting on Thursday that will persist into Saturday with less humid conditions..
• For the marine interests, the wave across the northern Gulf will bring increasing easterly winds and building seas. A Small Cragt Advisory is in effect from 1 PM today to 7 PM Thursday. .
