UPDATE FROM US NWS LAKE CHARLES 8.27.26

Showers and thunderstorms continue to move southward through the area. Some of these storms may be capable of strong wind gusts.
Daily isolated to scattered showers and storms will be possible through the next several days. Despite this, daily accumulations remain low.
Temperatures through the end of the week will be limited by cloud cover and showers, however they will rebound some from the weekend
into early next week.
