UPDATE FROM US NWS LAKE CHARLES 9.11.26

Issued at 4:30AM CDT Friday September 11, 2026…
High rain chances expected today into the weekend. The storms will have the potential to produce high rain rates in a short period
of time allowing for spotty flooding of urban poor drainage areas and there is a Marginal Risk or between a 5 to 14 percent chance
of seeing the excessive rainfall that may cause flooding.
Temperatures will remain typical hot and humid into next week.
