Thunderstorms with heavy rain continue to spread across the region this morning. There is a slight to marginal risk of excessive rain again today with 0.25″ to 3 inches possible through the next 24 to 48 hours, however reasonably highest amounts will range up to around 5″. While rain chances are higher today, scattered thunderstorms are still anticipated Wednesday, before hot and dry conditions return Thursday and Friday.
