Here are the updated forecast graphics from the midnight crew:
- An upper-level high will begin to build in today helping limit thunderstorm activity while bringing hot and humid conditions.
- A wave moving around the high and across the northern Gulf will bring increasing showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday for mainly locations along and south of the I-10 corridor.
- The wave will also help increase easterly winds and build seas over the coastal waters with the potential for Small Craft Advisory conditions.
- Northeast winds between the wave over the northwest Gulf and high pressure over the Mid-Atlantic will bring dry continental air to the region on Thursday and Friday to end the week with less humid conditions.
