UPDATE FROM US NWS LAKE CHARLES 10.2.26
Good morning,
Rain is ongoing across much of central and east Central Texas this morning, just west of Hardin County. Much of this rainfall
is expected to remain west of the forecast area as the expected cool front is slow to move out of central Texas.
Rain chances will increase starting today as high pressure moves east from overtop the region. However, majority of rainfall
associated with the coming front shouldn’t develop and impact our region until Saturday and Sunday.
The best part of this forecast is the early work week. Cool front will move through and bring forth a lovely taste of fall to kick
off Monday and Tuesday
