UPDATE FROM US NWS LAKE CHARLES 10.6.26 7 AM

Good morning all,

Cooler conditions are expected in the wake of drier air slowly entering the region from today through at least Thursday.

A disturbance has developed in the southwest Gulf. Further development is expected prior to it turning northward by the

end of the week. It is too soon to specify track or intensity, but increased winds as well as rainfall chances can be expected this weekend.
