US 90 Eastbound entrance and exit ramp at Exit 174 – LA 182 (Berwick), will have alternating ramp closures beginning Monday, August 10 until Friday, August 14, daily, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform asphaltic milling and paving operations for the US 90 Eastbound entrance and exit ramps.

Crews will only be working on one ramp at a time, to minimize traffic congestion.

Motorist traveling on LA 182 will only be able to access US 90 Eastbound via the posted detour route, which includes going westbound on US 90 to the second J-turn, then turn east onto US 90 Eastbound.

Motorist traveling on US 90 Eastbound will only be able to access Exit 174 – LA 182 (Berwick) via the posted detour route, which includes continuing eastbound on US 90 to Exit 175B (Morgan City), then northwest on US 90 Business (Greenwood Street), then on US 90 Westbound to Exit 174 – LA 182 (Berwick).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the eastbound entrance and exit ramp at Exit 174 – LA 182 (Berwick) during construction.

Detour routes will be posted during ramp closure periods.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
